As a member of the Security Trust Office, Mark leads Cisco’s strategic cybersecurity relationship with the UK Government, engaging with key departments on a range of cyber policy topics including Telecoms, supply-chain, and software.

Prior to joining Cisco in April 2021, Declan worked in the NHS for over thirty years.  Declan was previously Informatics Director at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, where he led on the development of innovative mobile solutions and new clinical applications to support an agile workforce.  

Chris leads a global Cisco program driving national digitisation projects across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In this role, Chris is focused on accelerating the digital agenda in partnership with national governments; progressing projects on Digital adoption, Digital skills, IoT, Sustainability and Cyber Security.

Stu is a passionate advocate for harnessing digital technologies to improve the lives of people within both urban and rural communities, whether they are working, learning, studying or just out and about having fun.

Working within the CTO Office of Cisco UK&I, Sumeet leads oversight of new incubation projects which typically combine emerging technologies and innovative business models.

Elizabeth leads the Cisco Networking Academy programme in the UK & Ireland, managing an ecosystem of 350+ organisations, including schools, charities, and prisons to drive high performance standards and grow the programme by exploring untapped market opportunities alongside Cisco and government entities

Simon is a Technical Solutions Specialist for Wireless and Location Services. He has over 6+ year’s experience covering location services as an innovation technology, but now focusing more widely onto Wireless technologies.

Chris has a diverse technical background spanning across telecommunication, network, IoT, and infrastructure design, deployment, and support. He specialises in the practical application of technology, particularly in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for buildings and data centres.

Emily is a key advocate for harnessing digitalisation to drive sustainable advancements, creating solutions with this goal in mind. Emily also contributes as a member of the Government Digital Sustainability Alliance, fostering cross-sector partnerships aimed at overcoming obstacles in the adoption of circular economy principles.

Ian is responsible for all the IT and Library Services within Queen’s.

Prior to joining Queen’s, Ian has worked with several large enterprises in the private and public sectors to help them transform their businesses, drive growth, improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Ian has experience of working with global corporates such as BT, Fujitsu and Civica, Red Hat and more recently in a small cyber-security start-up company called Ampliphae

Digital Operations is the Shared Services IT service for the NICS and wider public sector and comprises IT Assist and Enterprise Digital Development (EDD).  IT Assist provides common IT systems and services to 28,000+ customers in NICS Departments, Agencies and over 40 Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs).  EDD develop products and services that directly support the ambition to transform and deliver digital shared services both on the front line and in the back office. .

Dr Mateen Jiwani is a practicing GP who has a born passion for technology. He has a keen interest in medical devices and technology safety in clinical environments. He is regularly interviewed by tech start-ups and the BBC about doctor services using new and innovative approaches. Dr Jiwani is a Clinical Board Advisor on Health to BT Group Plc. He is part of the innovative and solutions-built NHS Vanguard programme deployed by the BT Health Team.  

Sultan is the appointed Director of Healthcare for BT and is the leader of the company’s healthcare business. He is an experienced executive with a passion for innovation and has had a distinguished career in the NHS spanning two decades and is a respected figure in Health technology circles in the UK and internationally.
